For NATCA members bidding their line. When it's your turn during the line round, you'll open your bidding page, look at the schedules that are still available, pick the one you want, and confirm it. This page walks you through it, step by step.

🗓️
A "line" is a work schedule. During the line round you choose which available schedule you'll hold for the coming year. When it's your turn, you pick — one line, from what's left.

Before you start
- Wait for your turn. You bid in seniority order within your area. You'll get a message — a text or an email with a one-tap link — when it's your turn. You can also open your bidding page any time to see where things stand.
- Have a look ahead of time. Even before your turn, you can open your area and see the lines and who has taken what. Knowing your first, second, and third choice makes your turn quick.

⏱️
When it's your turn, the clock may be running. Your area may give each person a set amount of time to bid. Don't worry — you'll see clearly that it's your turn, and you can pick well within the time. If you already know what you want, it only takes a moment.

- Open your bidding page. Tap the one-tap link in your text or email, or sign in with your MyNATCA account and go to your area, then Lines.
- Check that it's your turn. You'll see a clear note that you're up to bid. If it isn't your turn yet, the page will show whose turn it is and where you are in line.
- Review the available lines. Each line shows its schedule — the days and shifts it covers. Lines already taken by someone else are marked so you don't pick one by mistake.
- Pick the line you want. Select the one you want to hold.
- Review and confirm. Take one last look at the schedule you chose. If it's right, confirm it. If you change your mind, back out and pick a different one.
- Submit. Once you submit, your line is recorded.
