For everyone. Every person in BID holds one of a defined set of roles. This page is the complete reference for what each role is permitted to do.

The roles

Role Scope Permissions
Controller (Member) self Bid their own line and leave when it is their turn. No separate grant required — inclusion on a roster is sufficient.
Bid Aid one facility Enter bids on behalf of members. Bidding only — no setup or configuration access.
Area Representative one or more areas Manage rosters, lines, leave, rounds, and members for their assigned area(s).
Facility Administrator one facility Everything an Area Representative can do, across every area in the facility, plus facility-wide settings.
Super User entire system Full access across the system. Used by NATCA ITC.

Roles are cumulative, not exclusive. An Area Representative remains a Controller for their own bidding. A Facility Administrator retains everything an Area Representative or Bid Aid can do, facility-wide.
