For everyone. Every person in BID holds one of a defined set of roles. This page is the complete reference for what each role is permitted to do.
| Role | Scope | Permissions |
|---|---|---|
| Controller (Member) | self | Bid their own line and leave when it is their turn. No separate grant required — inclusion on a roster is sufficient. |
| Bid Aid | one facility | Enter bids on behalf of members. Bidding only — no setup or configuration access. |
| Area Representative | one or more areas | Manage rosters, lines, leave, rounds, and members for their assigned area(s). |
| Facility Administrator | one facility | Everything an Area Representative can do, across every area in the facility, plus facility-wide settings. |
| Super User | entire system | Full access across the system. Used by NATCA ITC. |
Roles are cumulative, not exclusive. An Area Representative remains a Controller for their own bidding. A Facility Administrator retains everything an Area Representative or Bid Aid can do, facility-wide.
