For all NATCA members who bid. Bidding goes in order — one person at a time, by seniority within your area. This page explains how you'll know when it's your turn, how to see how close you are, and what to do when the turn reaches you.

You don't have to sit and watch. When the line reaches you, we notify you by email and/or text — whichever you've chosen. Just be ready to bid when that message arrives.

When bidding reaches your spot in your area's order, you get a heads-up automatically:

You don't have to guess. Open your area page any time to watch the round move along:
This updates on its own as people ahead of you finish — you can leave the page open and check back, or just wait for your notification.
| Step | What to do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Open the one-tap link from your email or text. It takes you straight to your bidding page. |
| 2 | Make your picks — your line (your shift schedule) and/or your leave, depending on which round it is. |
| 3 | Submit. Once you submit, the turn moves on to the next person. |
| 4 | Check My Bids any time afterward to confirm what you were awarded. |

Prefer to sign in yourself? You can also open BID with your MyNATCA account and go to your area — the one-tap link is just the fastest way in.

Once you open your bidding page and start bidding, there is a limited amount of time to finish, so the line keeps moving for everyone behind you. The exact length is set by your facility.
